Grain Sparrow If I were in a band like the Golden Gate Wingmen, playing songs from the Grateful Dead catalogue (the greatest songbook in the world) and other forever-glittering specimens of the art of song, like Dylan tunes, solo Beatles picks (Nobody Told Me, Any Road), Zevon, and Van Morrison's Beautiful Vision record, I would also stuff our setlists with songs from Visions of the Higher Dream. And I mean all of them. Not one song would pale in that company. That's how commanding and classic this album is. Favorite track: Lilac About Thy Crown.
